It is what is says it is – a test of all the theory of driving. You must learn everything related to the world of four wheels because you don’t know what questions will appear on the test, so you must learn everything! You need to get 30 out of 35 to pass, which can be challenging, but with good revision it is easily achievable!
You have two choices. As soon as you can read you can swot up, and be
ready to take your theory test when you turn 17 and have provisional
licence in hand. Or, if you feel like you need some support, we will
give you lessons on the Theory test, and even give you a mock test.

Beleive it or not the only thing
you really need to get through the theory test is the old favourite,
the 'Highway Code'. If you have bought and studied it, you should sail
through! It costs a remarkable £1.49
but you do need to digest inside out. There are many different theory
test revision books and CD Roms available on the market, some of which
are actually invaluable. The books break up the learning into useful
sections with multiple choice questions throughout. The CD Roms actually
help you revise by teaching you some theory, then get you to do Mock
tests. If you aren't passing a mock test, you won't pass the real one!
Below you'll find a list of some reccomended books and CDs, some of which
we stock!
